16 years is no accident

16 years ago, Jane Sleeth, founder, owner and Managing Director of OPC Inc. decided it was time to be part of the solution.  The problem being that during her work as a physiotherapist, she discovered that there were significant gaps in how employers were managing workplace health, safety and wellness - primarily in the area of prevention.  With this in mind, she set about building a business that provided employers with a variety of proactive options for managing their workplaces injuries. 16 years later, Optimal Performance Consultants Inc remains at the forefront of delivering high quality, dependable ergonomic and Job Demands Analysis services, with the objective of ‘Keeping People and Profits Healthy.

When you use OPC Inc consultants your reports will contain evidence based recommendations that reference and incorporate the most up to date and relevant ergonomic guidelines.  The OPC Inc Ergonomic Hazard Identification System^© and the Job Demand Analysis has been academically validated at the University of Windsor and through the WCB in BC.  On occasion, OPC consultants have needed to defend both their qualifications and recommendations in cases of mediation, arbitration and when involved in Ministry of Labour Stage II work refusals.
